Vendéglő a Pisztrángoshoz, where we delight our guests with filleted, carefully deboned trout and other fish (carp, sterlet, catfish).

Here, we make everything by hand

That includes the desserts, side dishes, and fresh salads. Our own smoked fish reaches the table, and we use herbs from our herb garden to season the dishes.

By combining high-quality fresh ingredients, modern equipment, solid expertise, conscientiousness, and well-organized work, we are able to serve food of excellent quality to our guests.

Trout Farm

Our Story

The first trout farm, built in 1932, was established by the Royal Hungarian Forestry Directorate, and we have operated it since 1982. Today we produce sixty times the volume of fish we took over back then. The secret of our fish's excellent flavor and exceptional flesh quality lies in the fact that the ponds are fed by crystal-clear spring water from the Margit Spring in the Bükk Mountains, that we use traditional breeding technology, and that we feed our fish one of the highest-quality feeds in Europe. We also operate a water purification system that is unique in Central Europe. Here, the customer always receives freshly caught fish.
